They combine lightweight construction, protection and stability with the convenience of a side zipper for fast entry and removal. The upper combines leather with durable nylon mesh. A full waterproof bootie construction helps keep the feet dry, while bloodborne pathogen resistance adds protection for demanding duty environments. A YKK® Vision side zipper with hook-and-loop retention allows fast and secure entry. The gusseted tongue helps keep dirt and debris outside, while the moisture-wicking lining incorporates AEGIS antimicrobial protection. The Flex-Lite Support System works with a molded nylon stability board to provide torsional and lateral support while maintaining a lightweight, flexible feel. A molded dual-density EVA midsole incorporates a shock-absorption zone for comfort and fatigue control. A TPU heel stabilizer and molded thermoplastic heel counter and toe box improve fit, stability and support. Tec Tuff abrasion-resistant panels protect high-wear areas. The H.A.W.K. outsole is lightweight, non-marking, oil-resistant and slip-resistant, with arch ladder grips and toe grips for climbing
