The Original S.W.A.T. Classic 9 SZ Side Zip Tactical Boots are designed for extended professional use, combining durability, comfort and stability. The upper combines leather with Cordura® 1000 Denier nylon for enhanced durability and support. A durable YKK® Vislon® side zipper allows quick entry and removal, while the hook-and-loop tab helps keep the zipper secure. The foam-padded collar and tongue provide added comfort, protection and breathability during extended wear. The gusseted tongue helps keep dirt, dust and debris outside the boot. Its moisture-wicking lining incorporates AEGIS antimicrobial protection to improve comfort during prolonged use. A custom-molded Phylon EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning and support, while the Texon stability platform enhances lateral stability and torsional rigidity. Today's official version also features a steel shank for added support. The Classic outsole is made of non-marking, slip-resistant, and oil-resistant rubber. The current official specification exceeds ASTM F2913-24, while its older listing states ASTM F2913-11.
