The ASP Tri-Fold Restraint is a single-use flexible handcuff designed for compact carry and fast application as part of duty, military and professional security gear. The Tri-Fold design means the straps fold in three places, allowing the handcuff to be stored in an ultra-compact format on a belt or vest. When deployed, it provides wide open loops for fast and easy application. The straps are extra-wide with smooth edges for safer application. They run through a fully-enclosed ratchet block with a shim guard. After tightening, the secondary compression lock buttons provide additional security. The new polymer formulation is designed not to dry out or become brittle, offering increased strength and longer storage life. The product is single-use and must be cut off after application.
