The LOWA Z-8S GTX C Combat Boots are certified high-cut professional-duty boots designed for demanding missions, patrol, fast-roping, skydiving and combat. LOWA describes them as functional and lightweight combat boots suited to difficult terrain and marches with moderately heavy packs. The upper combines durable suede or split leather with fabric, providing support without the added bulk of a full nubuck construction. GORE-TEX® Professional lining provides durable waterproof, windproof and breathable protection. The midsole incorporates STABILITY FRAME and DOUBLE INJECTION construction. LOWA USA specifies a DuraPU® midsole with a softer PU layer for flex and cushioning and a denser layer for support. The MONOWRAP® Stability System cradles the foot for improved control. Closed lace hooks help reduce snagging on equipment and obstacles, making the boot particularly suitable for fast-roping and tactical movement. The LOWA® TACTICAL Z TRAC® outsole is slip-resistant and meets the SRA standard.
