The ALTAMA Jungle PX 10.5 is an operational boot designed for tropical, warm-weather and demanding environments where high breathability, effective drainage and durable construction are essential. It is one of Altama's established jungle boot designs. The upper combines polishable full-grain leather with reinforced Cordura® 1000D, providing high resistance to abrasion and tearing while maintaining airflow around the foot. A padded upper collar improves comfort during extended wear. The gusseted tongue helps keep sand, dirt and debris out, while Brass Speed lacing hooks allow quick and secure adjustment. In-step drainage vents allow water and moisture to escape rapidly, helping keep the foot dry. A removable polyurethane insole provides additional cushioning. The heel and Achilles area incorporate dedicated reinforcement for improved protection and support. Direct Molded Sole construction bonds the upper directly to the outsole for increased durability. The vulcanised rubber Ro-Search Panama outsole provides strong traction across mud, soil, and forest terrain and meets the slip-resistance requirements of ASTM F2913-11.
