The Pentagon Odos 2.0 Tactical WP 8 Tactical Boots are waterproof 8-inch boots designed for demanding professional and everyday tactical use. The updated 2.0 construction features a redesigned side wall for improved comfort, while selected leather sections have been replaced with durable webbing. The upper combines highly durable 1200D Nylon with high-density leather, providing resistance against abrasion and intensive wear. Reinforced toe and heel areas add protection to the sections exposed to the greatest levels of impact and abrasion. The Hydroguard® waterproof lining protects against moisture and complies with SATRA TM77:2017 testing. Pentagon also specifies a six-hour static test involving 15,000–20,000 cycles. The breathable lining helps maintain comfort during prolonged wear. An EVA insole provides cushioning and underfoot comfort, while the combined EVA and rubber outsole offers a balance of shock absorption, support and durability. The outsole provides slip-resistant performance and is oil-resistant, with Pentagon specifying IRM 903 oil resistance testing for 23 hours. This makes the Odos 2.0 suitable for demanding professional environments where traction and durability are important.
