PENTAGON PREDATOR MOUNTAINEERING 8" BOOTS WATERPROOF

The Pentagon Predator Mountaineering 8" Boots are designed for demanding mountain routes, operational activities and extended movement while carrying equipment. They provide stability, durability and weather protection without unnecessary weight or stiffness, while also being suitable for everyday use. The upper is made from 1.6–1.8 mm Full-Grain Nubuck leather with Anti-Wicking technology, which reduces moisture transport. It is combined with abrasion-resistant nylon fabric, protective rubber sections and reinforced Flow-Molded construction for greater durability in high-stress areas. The Hydroguard® waterproof membrane prevents water penetration, while the breathable Air Mesh lining allows air circulation during prolonged use. According to the manufacturer, the membrane provides more than 12 hours of static waterproofing in heavy rain and a reported resistance of 20,000–28,000 water penetration cycles. The removable cushioned footbed features 5 mm cushioning at the forefoot and 7 mm at the heel, providing comfort during ascents, descents and prolonged movement. The durable anti-slip rubber outsole provides traction on rocky, dirt, wet and mixed surfaces. The boots feature a waterproof, abrasion-resistant tongue, metal eyelets and durable nylon laces. Glue-Cemented construction contributes to flexibility and reduced weight. According to Pentagon, the boots meet the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard, with stated LG markings for ladder grip and SRC for slip resistance.
