The Legend NIJ IV SICA Ballistic Plate is a hard ballistic protection plate designed for use with a compatible plate carrier and tactical protection gear. The plate is certified NIJ Level IV by a European laboratory and is listed as standalone Level 4. Its construction is multi-hit capable according to the product information. The material construction includes Silicon Alumina ceramic with UHMWPE backing. The strike face is assembled from hexagonal ceramic pieces, while the single-curve shape supports use inside a compatible plate carrier pocket.
