SALOMON GENESIS FORCES MID GTX BOOTS WATERPROOF

The Salomon Genesis Forces Mid GTX are mid-height tactical boots designed for demanding operational and outdoor use. Based on Salomon's ultra-distance trail running footwear concept, they combine all-day comfort, underfoot protection, stability and agility. The waterproof GORE-TEX membrane protects water and is designed for extended use in severe wet-weather conditions. The upper combines synthetic and textile materials, while ripstop fabric provides increased resistance to tearing, wear and abrasion. Anti-debris Mesh helps prevent dirt and small debris from entering the boot. The optiFOAM™ midsole uses lightweight EVA foam to provide effective cushioning and comfort. The activeCHASSIS™ system provides additional guidance and foot support while maintaining the agility and freedom of movement required during dynamic activities. The All Terrain Contagrip® rubber outsole is designed to provide secure and adaptable traction across a wide variety of surfaces, including wet, dry, hard and loose terrain. Lug depth is 4.5 mm. The quickLACE™ system enables fast and secure one-pull tightening, while the integrated Lace Pocket provides convenient storage for the laces. The Molded OrthoLite® sockliner follows the contours of the foot and provides cushioning, breathability and durability. For additional protection, the boots feature anti-puncture construction, a Medial Protective Pad across the inner side of the instep and non-reflective materials for discreet tactical use. Foot protection is rated high, support is neutral and the fit is wide.
