The Pentagon Hurricane Shell Jacket Multicam is engineered for tactical operations and demanding outdoor conditions. Featuring a Ydor|Tec™ PTFE membrane, it provides excellent waterproof protection (10,000 mm) and breathability (5,000 g/m²/24h), making it a reliable outer shell for layering systems. The outer layer is crafted from 100% triple-laminated nylon, built to endure hard use, while taped seams prevent water penetration. The adjustable hood stores neatly in the collar, and underarm vents allow for ventilation during intense activity.
Two large cargo pockets and dual chest document pockets offer practical storage options. Elbow panels are reinforced for increased durability in rugged environments. The M.J.C.® system enables the attachment of compatible insulation liners (like the Nucleus), enhancing versatility for different climates. Additional features include an earphone port, dual-direction main zipper with storm flap, and Velcro-adjustable wrist straps, ensuring functionality during missions or everyday wear.
