The Helikon-Tex Classic Army is a tactical fleece jacket designed for intensive military, outdoor and everyday use. Its construction focuses on insulation, durability and practical field functionality, making it suitable as a thermal layer in changing weather conditions. The main fabric is 100% polyester fleece with a weight of 300 g/m². It provides thermal comfort in moderate and colder conditions and can be worn either as a standalone fleece or as part of a layered clothing system. The elbows, forearms and part of the collar are reinforced with nylon to improve abrasion resistance in areas frequently exposed to equipment and ground contact. A high adjustable collar with drawcord helps retain warmth around the neck. Hook & Loop adjustable cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem allow the fit to be adapted to body shape, weather and additional layers. The two-way main zipper includes a protective flap and allows easier ventilation control and access to equipment carried around the waist. Four functional YKK® zippered pockets provide practical storage: two angled hip pockets, one chest pocket with cable routing and one pocket on the left shoulder.
